Atmospheric to the max but doesn't have a lot to say imo "oh no im batman but im aldo sad :((("

A visual masterpiece but lacking the depth I was looking for.

Sorry emo batman but you will never be in the same echelon as Adam West, Mike Keaton, or Christian Bale - you sit eith Clooney in the tier of "could have beens"

    We Bought a Zoo

I remember watching this in theaters and my mom was absolutely fuming when they kept swearing at each other during the argument over whether or not they should have bought the zoo.

Honestly the wife was 100% in the right, they should not have bought it - an upper middle class family should not be running a zoo...

Dude thought he was suburbsn Tiger King or something.

Absolutely LOVE the concept of unveiling a mystery with only a tape recording. One of the most gripping films I think I've ever seen. Belongs up there with Se7en in the pantheon of phenomenal thriller mysteries.

Incredible music references throughout but overall very disappointing. It becomes exasperating watching this guy fumble relationships over and over without taking any accountability whatsoever. The self-sabotaging cynic Rob Gordon can be compelling but is too unlikable to root for, it reminds me of a prototypical How I Met Your Mother but without the redeeming qualities of the affable and sincere Ted Mosby at the center. Gordon's introspection in this movie comes across more as self-indulgence than actual growth or self discovery.
