Watching Barry Lyndon is like someone reading a Novella for you to fall asleep which i did a couple of times especially in the middle part but in general it was a good journey.

PS : I searched on reddit how much is 500 Guineas at that period of time and i found this :
£1.05 per guinea which means £1.05 x 500 = £525 in 1790 is about £80,000 or $110,000
Not bad i guess, right ?
