Holy shit. Everything from the cinematography to the visuals. Paul Thomas Anderson and Adam Sandler together work like bread and butter. Sandler's performance as Barry is something else. Hell even to the way the film is shot. Such a good fucking film my god dude.

Alfred Hitchcock's filmography shown through my childhood. Vertigo, the birds, etc. Psycho easily conveys a message of the human mind. The idea of this normal man running a simple motel with his mother. Until you realize the disastrous effects of what's to come.
The remake was pure shit though.
