    From the very beginning, the visuals strongly conveyed the contrast and mixing of contemporary society and the church through architecture and dress.

    Each scene is laden with this contrast to create discomfort, elegance, and comedy. It is something I aesthetically enjoyed immensely and ties in well with the film's message.

    Overall I think the film has a good message about acceptance in the church but delivers it without a great deal of grace. Which is a disappointment for how enjoyable the film was to watch.

    Really enjoyed this as an entrance to the alien franchise, though I've talked to some people and a lot of the Sci-fi concepts I liked are references to major plot points in previous entries.

    To begin, the acting is a little weird but intentionally so. It makes the characters feel out of place in the world which contributes to the horror in many ways.
