  For Frodo?

  I felt this was a rather mediocre entry into the series. Day One is certainly more spectacular that it's predecessors, with hundreds of monsters, and explosions going off around NYC. This also means that it sacrifices everything that made the previous films so great; the gripping drama, the uncomfortably tense and silent shots, and real relationships between the survivors.

  Day One does nothing new. The survivors figure out very quickly how to navigate the creatures and simply plod along towards a predictable end.
