  Cary Grant master of manipulation in this story  

  We should take a minute and really appreciate the person who sat down and wrote dialogue for this movie. The whole movie is so fast paced, the dialogue never stops. Moreover, we should appreciate Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell for being able to recreate that much dialogue. Such a fun and intense movie that makes the life of journalist look so interesting.

  Osgood a freak like that 

  Billy wilder comes with a masterpiece in comedy and romance once again. Jack Lemmons performance peaked in this movie. The comedy and the drama, the whole movie is just timeless. For a movie in 1959 I liked how original it is with challenging gender roles and societal expectations of its time, factor that made this movie so ahead of its time. Overall it’s a comedy masterpiece, with outstanding performances by Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Marylin Monroe
