Local Man John Sisu* Too Angry To Die
went in expecting a gritty, at least somewhat grounded war thriller about a lone soldier facing off against insurmountable odds - instead got a Looney Tunes movie about an entirely indestructible old man going absolutely Wacko Mode on a bunch of nazis. it's probably a bit too silly unfortunately but i can't say i didn't have a good time

you can tell bong's main goal here was just to have fun and i'm glad he did. a lot of directors couldn't pull off such a madcap mixture of tones and disparate ideas but he just kind of makes it work (although if you're easily bothered by unexplained or unexplored plot threads, this movie is not gonna be your cup of tea). very fun performances too, another common robert pattinson W
