  cried about 4 times. i cannot believe such a touching story of female desire was directed by CLINT EASTWOOD. WHAT. babygirl take notes!!!!! 

  all i knew about this movie was 1) meryl streep (💜) and 2) its about an affair. this obviously turned me off, i hate cheating in general but i hate cheating plotlines even more. but man. this movie got me. maybe i need a rewatch because i was really sleep deprived and already emotional. or maybe this is a masterpiece. check in next week when ayo and i pack a bowl and watch this in my pillow fort

  watched this movie twice — the first time in a classroom at my university, started halfway into the movie, with my best friend, as people around us took a final exam. yes it was playing out loud. no, the professor did not ask us to leave ( in fact,  he repeatedly told us to stay). yes we made everyone in there watch bettys audition scene with us. 

  the second time was in that same best friends apartment as she painted…
