I get why people dislike it. But for me I think what really sells it is the acting. Everyone in this movie is incredible. My personal favorite is Edward Norton. He is brilliant in this. And yeah the long take is kinda prentous but I like it as its able to focus more on an individual character (or 2) and get some more personal time and learn more about them. I love the rich characters and I do enjoy the arc of Regean in particular. Is it preachy, yeah but I don't mind.

I do appreciate what this film was trying to do. I really do. But for me I just had a massive head ache by the end. It isn't really "laugh how crazy this movie is" kind of way. It just....well there weren't many laughs if any. Nothing was special technical wise and the movie just drags way to long to be anything remotely to entertaining.

Easily one of the best sequels ever made. Not only does the film honor the original, it creates something new with the world it was given. The acting is outstanding but Ryan Gosling really does still the show. Once again, just mute the movie and watch the cinematography, and you are bound to have a good time. The story takes its time and while some people have had problems with the pacining I didn't. I love this movie and its one of the few movies I can watch over and over again.

So I recently rewatcthed this. And I think it's pretty decent. I think the action is super fun to watch, and the soundtrack is killer. Edward Norton isn't to bad either. However the story isn't that all engaging and the female lead is Captial B for boring. And the continuity is kinda weird. The First Hulk is cannon but it's not really?...I don't know. But I did enjoy it and it's just decent.
