really different from what i expected. maybe i have a very skewed idea of what “torture porn” would be but imho this doesn’t count. the violence does get pretty brutal and it dominates the film (even though things only heat up in the second act), but i don’t think it’s a movie without substance. it’s not intelligent or thought provoking, but i found some moments actually really tense and having the dumb horny guy become responsible was pretty interesting to…
