  looking past the kind of bad CGI, this was really impressive.a creature that is in constant pain & constantly evolving that represents the horrors of nuclear power & the death & destruction it brings, its probably a much better representation of what godzilla is truly supposed to mean than the superhero-like monsterverse version of it.

  a dystopian movie that attempts to criticize capitalism, but it seems very inaccurate in its portrayal of capitalism, workers, religion and revolution. themes of both Christianity and Buddhism that can be seen throughout the movie, which was interesting to see. story is slightly confusing tbh
