this movie would be perfect if it had ended five minutes before jeremy renner got a chance to ask "you wanna make a baby?" but otherwise a really stunning watch. villeneuve brings a claustrophobic sense of intimacy to a large-scale sci-fi premise, which makes for a disorienting but compelling push-and-pull until it smothers you in the last 10 minutes.
