A unique masterpiece. Intimacy, tenderness and simplicity in the spaces between. Multiple heartbreaks. Cinematography was obviously perfect. My favourite things: a shared passion project. Having a mahjong-obsessed community to hide from. The shadow shots, creeping behind the windows n doors, the shot of the Cambodian hole growing plants/life. The title card that said “That era has passed. Nothing that belonged to it exists anymore.”
