    I know PROM NIGHT is usually dismissed by horror fans, and frankly I'm confused by that nonsense. Because if you ask me- PROM NIGHT is top-tier 80's slasher, and I said what I said.     Yes, I know it's got a terrible reputation.... BUT- I'm here to defend CHILDREN OF THE CORN and hear me out! Is it the finest adaption of Stephen King's work? NO. Not even close. But, the film does have many things going for it, more than against it if you ask me.

    1. Atmosphere. CHILDREN OF THE CORN has a sinister, creepy atmosphere you just can't beat. It really gives the film a vibe.
