    The Grave

    ★★½

    Horror adjacent

Decent story, highly predictable, cast is stellar, some just getting their start, other established and holding their own.

It's slow on pacing for as simplistic as the story is.

Not horror and I kept waiting for the horror

It's clever, but not that clever

  • Head of the Family

    Head of the Family

    ★★★

    It was only... okay
It's a Full Moon Feature, either your a fan or your not, I'm not.
I just see the cheapness and it's distracting.
The production is just a step down, I'd say a step down from Roger Corman although Full Moon follows the business model.
Full Moon is a step above Troma.

I'm being harsh and I do apologize. I love the corny, hokey, schlocky, etc...
I just need to be in the right mood.

Head of the Family was serviceable, it was unique and I see now why Joe Bob and others have covered the movie

Since it was streaming as well.
    I viewed it at home
Yeah, it's another movie getting a mix of reviews.
    Well, it met my expectations
Still not going to spoil anything, but...
    I will say this.

Watch the movie "Christine" by John Carpenter
This movie parallels it with similarities

    And I love it.

  • Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2

    Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2

    ★★½

It's taking notes from the Terrifier series.

Plus these filmmakersare creating a Poohniverse which will be like an Avengers style horror movie.
With such characters as Bambi, Pinocchio, versus Winnie-the-Pooh characters, etc.

    With Blood & Honey 2
It's bloody with gory scenes, the humor isn't really there except how lunacy the idea is.
The story is trying to explain the creatures using an "Island of Dr. Moreau" approach.
    It's over-the-top blood & gore.

    As for my opinion
    I enjoy relating movies to…
