  Paolo Sorrentino has created an intriguing blend of philosophy and anthropology, as a libido cocktail. “Parthenope” may be seen as a nonsensical aphrodisiac that lacks direction; however, what truly sustains this film is its visual splendor and the performance of actress Celeste Dalla Porta, a woman who can captivate and melt you with just a gaze into the camera.
