it takes a lot, for me, to thoroughly enjoy an animated film, and not only did i thoroughly enjoyed this, i absolutely loved it.
only giving it 4 and a half stars, though, because i will say it was cut off a little unexpectedly, as i wish it continued and had a little more in-depth plot at the end there.

a film shitting on bob dylan going between the same 2 women. and playing his subpar music.
i truly don’t understand now the hype this got, even when i was looking forward to viewing this, i was so let down.
i guess that’s what happens in timothee chalamet films for me now.i will say that timothee has done a fantastic job on acting as bob dylan, because that is not easy to do.
but this film was blown completely…

The Brutalist 2024
i typically never, i mean never, rate films 5 stars. but god was this a perfect film. viewing the brutalist in a 35mm screening was such a treat. not to mention how unexpecting some scenes were in this film.
i advise to not watch the trailer, and jump into this like i did, and you may like it even more.
adrien brody deserved this oscar award for 2024’s academy best actor, that is for sure.

watched this and could probably watch it. again, and again.
so slow at first. i also went in blindly, like i love to do.
and the ending of watching woodcock stare at alma as he eats his omelette, KNOWING she poisoned him before, and will be poisoned if he continues to eat, and DOES? is absolutely the most disgusting romance and i want more. just like woodcock. its beautiful. it’s a unique story.
