Godzilla Minus One 2023
This film was a heartfelt, gut punching, technically and visually spectacular piece of work. The use of the time period and the disaster that ensued in Japan following WWII adds so much more to the mythos of Godzilla.

i had no idea this was made and went in completely blind. needless to say, this is the best mortal kombat movie.
old man logan style sub zero, a cocky kenshi who get knocked to his lowest point, a ruthless king kano, literally what else could you want from a MK alternate timeline.
animation was a litttttttle weird at the beginning but as the movie progressed, it just got better and the fight scene just became more insane.
