  I hate that this was marketed as a light-hearted lgbtq+ story and ended up falling into stereotypical storylines and displaying a terrible and toxic wlw relationship. I would not forgive my partner if they made me go through what harper did to abby. I understand that this was written by a queer person from another generation based on their experiences but it feels old and not the representation young lgbtq+ teens want right now. I really just wanted a fun christmas movie to watch and feel warm about :(
