Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai 1999
I really I enjoyed watching this all the way through. It was slow-paced and methodically gorgeous in its cinematography. It’s a beautiful western with samurai ideals.
It reminded me so much of Leon The Professional. I think this film was well marketed for its time as well. The use of RZA as soundtrack producer is smart as Wu-Tang Clan were very popular at the time and connected very well to the eastern/samurai philosophy.
I will be watching again

The politics of papacy is really what came to mind as a first thought while watching this brilliant film; it jumps out at me the first ten minutes. Venom: The Last Dance 2024
It’s the same things I’ve disliked in all the other films; the voice. Besides that I like how it’s lowkey a film about depression, that’s quite cool.
The beats were cool I guess, little family friendly feel as they’re going to be pushing the venom film property through Disney’s Marvel now, I guess. Over all it’s a 3 for me.
