Barbarian is a film that imposes itself as a staple in the horror scene. The factor that sets this apart from the ordinary, cliche horror is the directors ability to overwhelm the audience with its macabre. The monster within the film was designed specifically to activate psychomotor agitation within the brains of the viewers, however the clear issue with the writing of the film is the lack of character development. This is a massive drawback that denies the film of reaching the calibre of a 4 or 5 star film. 3 stars!

Incantation 2022
Where there is good, there must also be evil. This Kevin Ko production explores the religion of Buddhism and how a persons bad will and wicked intentions give off a negative energy that will dilate into the world. It provides answers to the existence of bad luck and karma whilst providing a chilling experience that made my hairs stand on end. I could not help but grant 5 stars to this intense and ingenious horror film.

A well set out film with colourful scenes which perfectly captures the essence of the Barbie and helps women relive their childhood. This was a very clever and designing way to promote the directors ideologies of the roles of women in our modern society. As well as this it superbly establishes the reason for the Barbie dolls creation. This is more than enough reason to award this film with 4 stars!

The Fall Guy 2024
A thrilling action-packed romance that kept me on my toes. This film establishes boundaries keeping the stuntman and director apart. The film is set out so that the love interests’ undergo different journeys and experiences simultaneously to try and rekindle a spark. A brilliantly written story although hard to follow at certain points. A very solid 4 out of 5 stars!
