  I am unsure how I feel about this film. Some parts great some parts completely over-indulgent. I think overall I excuse the annoying parts of the writing for how good it gets when it's good. However, I think this suffers from Kaufman's direction. The visual style did almost nothing for me: I think I would've preferred something much more gonzo, to match the writing itself (Eternal Sunshine goes 10x further with far less wacky source material), and that this would…

  I know I am probably being harsh and that this film probably deserves a higher score than this but, for me, it was incomprehensible to the point of just being boring and a little tedious by the end so I just didn't really care, however, I'm happy if you could get a lot more enjoyment in attempting to understand what happened in this movie than I could it just wasn't really for me I guess!
