  I created a whole 30 minute presentation on how Wes Craven and Heather Langenkamp were able to elevate the “final girl” trope into an empowering and more accurate representation of female survivors. One of my all time favorite films ever. Love Craven and Heather.

  The atmosphere of this film should be appreciated on its own. This film is the embodiment of dark academia and cultural studies. So much to talk about in the film. It really should be studied. (Also Virginia Madsen is Gillian Anderson level stunning)
