Superb acting. It felt like multiple kind of movies in the same one, but in a good way. The tone switches with the exact right timing, surprising the viewer.

The story is moving in an unexpected way.

    A1 script!

  • Dune

    Dune

    ★★★★

Dune is an epic sci-fi that hits almost all the right notes. It is grand, beautiful and stern.

The set design and costumes makes the world believable. The acting is top notch. Rebecca Ferguson is really bringing up her A game here, even more than usual.

Within this brutalist piece of art, my only complaint would be that with all its merits, the movie lacks a little bit of heart. It was a bit difficult to engage emotionally with the characters.

It is hard scifi done right, and Villeneuve shows again how much he controls his craft.

    Venom: Let There Be Carnage

    ★½

A mess of a movie. Uninteresting story. Bad pace. Real bad editing. Action sequences felt more like a bad 90s action movie.

Carnage was such a disappointment. No characters had any kind of growth throughout the movie.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

    ★★★★

Simu Liu is charming and fun, Akwafina is funny but deeper than expected, Tony Leung is menacing yet endearing.

The martial art is yop-notch, toppled with some great superhero action and fantastical magic.

The movie is fun and captivating at every moment.
This is an A+ Marvel movie.
