its not a romance, its Jo’s story through and through which just happens to end with her figuring out that she wants love after all, but the way that story was told just wasn’t enjoyable to watch. Beautiful movie, love the way it was shot and how intense the spectrum of emotions was depicted in this movie: the tense scenes felt like you were made of metal, the soft scenes were like floating in water, the love between these two felt greater than anything else. this is a romance movie to have in your dvd collection.
