Love this film (until the end where it lowkey rips my heart out). Its really well made, the dialogue and performance between Seb and Mia is either funny, or devastating. The dinner argument is honestly genius, the sound, the cinematography. And the musical scenes are just c'est magnifique (especially 'A Lovely Night'). Only loses half a star because after studying it to death for my A levels it lost its appeal (temporarily).

I need to stop reviewing films as masterpieces, HOWEVER, in my opinion, this is 100% one. The hand flex alone deserves an Oscar. I do prefer this one over the 1995 P+P, however this may just be due to my lack of attention span to watch all the episodes of the 1995 one so I'm not really a reliable source for this.
