i have two take always from this movie.
1. the creators believed with their whole budget that references and cheap nostalgia is enough to make a good movie. (It’s not)
2. if the nostalgia recipe fails, get two generally loved comedians among gen Z and millenials and hope for the best. (there’s not enough love in my heart for any comedian that could get me to be genuinely invested in the characters)

If you have seen Pearl this movie isn’t worth subjecting yourself to just because you’re curious about Mia goth. Angry at all the teens who hyped this movie up bc of Mia that failed to mention how boring and nail-on-chalkboard drawn out the sex scenes are ;( I might come back to see the ending but this movie ruined my night. Great cast. Cool idea. Dissapointment immeasurable.
