wong kar-wai is incredible at capturing the warmth of love, as well as the plights. from the feeling at the beginning of falling in love to the heartbreak and realizing something is fading. i love that this movie is all over in terms of the emotions that come with love, romantic and platonic. humans are so beautiful in the way we apply meaning to things. also Takeshi Kaneshiro is the hottest man to ever exist i fear....
