Barbie of Swan Lake 2003
Never really liked this movie. The kids always freaked me out. Here’s an essay I wrote about the anti semitism and colonialism in it:

Barbie 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I saw this movie twice, both times with a group of friends and we all dressed up. I think what I liked the most about this movie is the sense of community is created when going to the film, as well as the importance of female connection.

Barbie: Princess Charm School 2011
Blair is a class-conscious princess who understands the struggles of the working class. I wish she was more radical though and abolished the monarchy :/
i disliked the music in this one, but the outfits slapped.
The delaney redemption was really cute and i think historians will go on to say her and princess blair/sophia were "really good friends"
delaneys mom might have been evil and greedy, but I really loved her green outfit in the end.

Barbie and the Three Musketeers 2009
I actually really liked this one. Had a classic feminist plotline and some really fun training montages. The music in the beginning was fun, and I loved the outfits in this one. However, once again I am docking marks for the annoying talking animals. The cat was only redeemable when she stuck a sword up the dogs butt. I am also convinced that the horse is possessed by Barbie's dead father. (how else would he know so much about being a musketeer, the castle layout, and make dad jokes?)
