  I am so confused - did I watch the same movie as everyone else? What could have been a great commentary on how sex workers are coerced, harassed and made to feel powerless turns into a story that doesn’t delve into Ani’s backstory at all, tries to portray her as a “strong woman” without giving us anything to draw back on and kind of ignores the main problem at hand.
