No way this is the sex work positive movie i’ve been hearing about. Where is her agency after the first act. They introduce her as being in control of her life and profession and the way she’s treated, which is a refreshing change of pace from usual SW depiction. Watching her genuinely believe the dude loves her is an insult to her intelligence. Ironically it’s like believing the stripper actually likes you. So reductive.
