Very good film.
KG was the dark horse of this movie, I honestly really enjoyed his performance and it was better than I expected. I think that what the Safadie brothers wanted me to feel after watching this movie was exactly what I did feel, and I feel that it was very well-executed in most regards.
That said, F9 is better.

Best movie I’ve ever watched. The masterful writing had everyone in my theatre gasping at different twists and turns (we cried five minutes in), the jokes had the entire theatre in tears for minutes at a time, and the action scenes had us mouths agape, wondering what crazy thing Don was gonna do next. One thing that I love about the movie is that Dom straight up kills some people and spares others, as acts of mercy. He fucking hanged…

Was not ready for this. I really liked and was interested in it up until the EVIL CORPORATION IS BEHIND THE EVIL ACTS (air quotes) “twist,” HOWEVER I think despite losing me personally there, the direction of the movie was pretty solid especially regarding the point that the filmmakers wanted to get across. Do I understand that point completely? No. Do I understand it at all? Eh, maybe.
Great movie for what it’s trying to be, but lost me personally in the 2nd/3rd act.
