  ok, so my initial thoughts on this film were that I loved it. on reflection, I think I embellished the film as I watched it. I added more implied violence without realising it etc., and other people’s points about two women dead and nothings actually being solved except hoping the cops will help (when not 5 minutes before, the cops were seen to play into the misogyny that lets men get away with murder). so I think there is so much potential and not enough delivery. lots of complexity and anti-lad culture which is important, but too much pussyfooting around actual revenge and retaliation.
