Do Revenge 2022
This was so messy…Austin Abrams stole the show, but the writing was meh and the payoff with forgiveness vs revenge didn’t feel believable or convincing to me. Why would Eleanor have any desire to be besties with Drea after all that? Literally none of the actors had chemistry either, which was made worse by the poor writing and pacing. Everybody felt flat and it seems like the actors themselves weren’t convinced by their roles either. They tried to force some character growth with a corny nostalgia montage, but we could’ve been eased into that development more gradually. Overall it was fun though.
