Shoplifters 2018
Shoplifters had its emotional moments that captured the feeling it wanted you to get, but it never gripped me in a way that kept me fully engrossed in what was happening. The meaningful moments in the story never hit me on a deeper level because the movie just isn't compelling enough. There are many reasons why this is a good movie: the characters, the backstory, the turn it takes in the 3rd act, but it could've been a great movie if it just made me care more.

This movie was even better after rewatching it. The action was spectacular from start to finish and it was very enjoyable to watch. This movie completely nailed the comedic tone as well. The first scene alone was hilarious. I also liked the twist halfway into the movie. i never saw it coming. All of these things combined makes this one of the best marvel movies of the decade, and I can't wait for the next spider-man movie after that reveal at the end.
