  this movie is a certified classic. It is a 10/10 I don’t care what literally anyone has to say. I watched this movie probably 30 times in my childhood, and saw it in theaters for the first time with my neighbor Rachel and her mom Marisol. Marisol passed away when we were young teenagers in 2014 (rest in peace🩷). Every time I think of her, I think of watching this movie with Rachel and Marisol, and how amazing Marisol’s laugh was.

  Nothing could have prepared me for that. The ending crushed me, no matter how obvious it was. It was real and tragic and beautiful and awful. But it was REAL. The pain he felt, but the beauty he saw. I feel so corny but god dammit
