I enjoyed mostly the first half when it really does focus on Mickey and his dilemmas with existing. then the third act zooms out and deals with more of the other characters and plot sequences to sort of rush a bigger message that kind of overwhelms me with other very large performances that I’m still debating if that was enjoyable or not. It felt so lonngggg too. Long and loud and horny. so yeah, this snowpiercer and okja mash of movie thematics did its thing and I think maybe I need to digest it more.

Loved this romcom concept. Definitely hitting the spot for a beauty and the beast modern fanfic come to life. I was excited for a lot of it and I love when romcoms make me giddy. I think it’s something I’d rewatch cus I really like Melissa Barrera (and monsters 😜). She performs in such a relatable way. I want to see the short film on this! Where can I find?
