Salome's Last Dance 1988
Not a fan of the literal story within a story that some movies (like this one) do. I prefer a more subtle delivery and nesting of the subtext to an audience. This movie seemed was as loud and dramatic as it was intended to be, and I just didn't know beforehand what the ride was that I was getting on. Didn't even read a synopsis. Nor did I know anything about the story of John the Baptist. Entirely my fault for going in blind. It's not bad at all. It's just not for me.

A Ghost Story 2017
One of those films you're gonna be hittin the 10 or 15 sec jump ahead button on because the shots hold for so long. Great message about grief. But...(Hold for dramatic effect while binge eating a pie)... sloooooooowwwww.
