I feel like this short achieves so much in less than 10 minutes
● Being a single parent and 1st time parent is hard
● Theres a lot of taboo around gender roles and parenting
● Parents will make mistakes
● Having a child with special needs can be a challenge and should be spoken about
This hard hitting short film really sums up internal homophobia as well as body image and over-sexualisation of gay culture.
It can be a tough 19 minutes to watch but think it sums up the experience that many gay men have had and continue to do so if they can't break the spiral of shame that society has placed upon them.
I really cant see what Kong saw in Ann. All she does is scream way too much.
This film felt like it was made just to show off what you can do with claymation which obviously is cool.
The dialogue seems a little outdated nowadays with everyone saying things which are understatements but the way the guy tells Ann he loves her was so cringey!
