Obsessed with Mount Everest, the woman in this documentary tells the story of her amazing life in Nepal and Connecticut of all places. Despite the illiteracy she suffers because she’s a female in Sherpa society, her incredible determination and seemingly superhuman strength gets her to the summit, more than once. She has some terrible, depressing chapters in her life but mountains are the salve that helps her press on. An inspiring story, thoroughly enjoyed it

Wonderful story of 2 misfits, one young and one middle aged in a prep school context and how they learn to deal with each other and eventually make a profound impact on each other. Engrossing with super witty dialogue that works and that made me laugh out loud a few times. So worth watching!
