The most “Oh SHIT” movie ever. I almost called him a cheapskate… but he earned the scariest scare of all time. Gotta hand it to him.

It was a mistake to watch this by myself, but the filmography is complete. What a guy, what a visionary, what a fully realized nightmare. Evoked emotions I can barely put into words. Terry Crews’ best performance? Undoubtedly. Not to mention Laura Dern, sheesh a national treasure for collaborating on this everlasting cinematic dreamscape.…

I love a movie about marriage.

I also love a sexy movie about marriage.

I also love a sexy movie about marriage between two spies.

I also love a superbly crafted, sexy movie about marriage between two spies starring Cate Blanchett and Mikey Fassbender.

I immediately wanted to rewatch Black Bag upon completion because NO ONE does it like Steven Soderbergh.

The musical moments from ‘The Dream’ are absolutely superb…

"What is the best description of a cube than its actual physical shape?"

What a powerful, sumptuous film. It's epic in the same way Oppenheimer was last year, with more expressionistic and naturalistic perspectives. Split in two halves with an 15-minute intermission, it is a distinct journey for our hero Lazslo (Adrien Brody) that sorrowfully and dramatically comments on immigration, capitalism, money, power, art, will to live and survive, family, and human pride.

I thought often of my grandfather, an…

The anthology format is going to turn off viewers (fans of the director and casualites alike) no matter what, but aside from some rare instances of convoluted plotting, this is kind of a perfect movie. Technically this is Wes at his finest: colors are more vibrant than ever, every scene a warm embrace as real and lived-in as the fictional Ennui. Every actor seems to be operating st the top of their game as well: Bill Murry gives his best performance…
