Throughout it seeming as a “cheesy” skater film, it lived up to the name enough. It has this 90s feel to it, the stills having no strenuous graphics, the pushing of religion (christianity, before the slight decline post year ‘00), skater fashions, everything was pure. The downfall which I could see why most people are deterred, is the forced dialogue. It’s as if an adult vicariously was living through a (what they believe is a current) teen while writing this. Overall I did enjoy, especially the scene michael shared with his father in the end.
