One of the best films I've ever seen. Engaging storytelling and breathtaking cinematography accompanied by the most beautiful film score I've ever heard. Absolute perfection.

Not only does this feature peak Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck performances, but also goes alongside Blade Runner 2049 as Roger Deakins' finest work.

Discovered this gem looking through Pitt's filmography recently, and I am so very glad I watched it. A criminally underrated masterpiece featuring several oscar-worthy performances.

Sheeeeesh Burnt Offerings is so atmospheric and engaging. I can't believe this came out a year before King released The Shining, a heavy influence right here which makes me respect it even more.

Reed starts off with a restrained, convincing and surprisingly wholesome performance as a caring father, but soon strikes with some classic off the wall shit; impressive range on display.

Bette Davis was a lovely surprise, I underestimated Karen Black, and shout-out for having a good child actor. Real intensity and suspense builds right to the end. Underappreciated film.

The best comic book movie I've seen in years! Hilarious, emotional, at times genuinely beautiful and SO MUCH FUN. The cast, visuals and score were extremely impressive.

James Gunn is a very talented filmmaker. Nothing felt forced, and it features some of the best-looking CGI and most gratifying gore in an R-Rated film. Shout-out to King Shark, Weasel and Sebastian.

The best way to spend two hours, it flew by and exceeded my already high expectations. A bit of the old ultra-violence. Banger.

Far from a perfect film, but a perfect send-off for Daniel Craig, my favourite Bond. I didn't feel the runtime at all, the longest Bond film ended up feeling like one of the shortest ones.

So much here is executed beautifully, namely Craig's performance, the score and the visuals. With some incredibly memorable moments, stakes were higher than any other Bond film and I didn't want it to end. The whole thing really worked for me aside from a few characters…
