This and Control are the two best (and probably only good) music biopics, and this film is the reason why I got into and now love The Beach Boys.
Paul Dano and John Cusack both nail the eras on Brian they are playing while Paul Giamatti is truly terrifying as Dr Landy.
The actors who play Mike and Carl are excellent and nail their voice and personality, only real criticism of the film is Dennis and Al get left behind in their casting and roles in the film
