Really amazing. Manages to capture the complicated social world of the early teenage years, with a soft sentimental core that makes you realise you've probably been taking your mum for granted.
There's quite a sinister moment in this film when Simon Pegg's character does a simple hand gesture causing lots of schoolchildren to run into a room and then presumably murder an older woman off camera
