Wallace is actually so lucky that Gromit puts up with his shit. He is actually brain-dead IQ and his existence is only sustained by his dog, who exceeds him in every way. Wallace is also always on this same shit of "finally appreciating his dog in the end", but by his next appearance he is once again taking him for granted. Gromit is not just his dog and his friend, he is literally his carer, his Messiah, and his saviour.
Wallace makes me so angry Feathers McGraw should have put him out of his misery and let Gromit take ownership of the household.
