The mind vs. the money, or what is the same, Sherlock Holmes vs. Elon Musk. A delight of a movie, never boring and full of very well-crafted turns in the script. The worst part is the beginning, with a very strange and artificial introduction of the characters, and the feeling you have at the end that nothing relevant has been said in the movie. But what matters is the ride, and it is a very fun one.

    Low budget, extraordinary main character.

This is a straightforward film in which a character is set to embody absolute evil. But how much brilliance there is in the portrayal of this character and the creativity of some of the deaths.

You can tell it's too low budget, but it works like a shot and it's scary, and at times, the homemade look even adds to the terror.

As an anecdote, one of the victims looks a lot like Irene Montero, Spain's Minister of Equality, adding another entertainment layer to the film.

    Looking forward to Terrifier pt2.

This film has an exciting horror premise that holds up pretty well for an hour's worth of footage. There's no shortage of fantastic and terrifying mise-en-scène ideas (the playground scene is excellent), but it drifts into nonsense in the last half hour.

A good time to spend freaking out that this was directed by Jon Watts.

There's a scene with a kid playing video games, which I would never have predicted that the director would go on to direct Spider-man.

    American teen cannibal love story.

An interesting starting point, a couple of sequences punctuated by New Order and Joy Division songs that work very well, and a gallery of fascinating supporting characters are the strong points of this film, which is otherwise too adolescent and intense for its own good.
Firstly because the love story is so fast-paced and intense that you don't understand where so much love comes from, there's no falling in love process, just falling in love.…
