  Un bel film. Parthenope è un film con tanto da trasmettere, l’immagine di Napoli vista dagli occhi di Sorrentino è veicolo per un’ampia riflessione sulla bellezza, la sua ricerca, le sue spine e i suoi significati. Non mira a darti risposte né a erigere un’idea di “bello” sopra le altre ma mostra l’idea e gli effetti su uomini di contesti sociali molto diversi.
  Che il tema principale sia questo studio antropologico è chiaro e specificato anche nel film e sottolineato…

  Big delusion. Visually stunning, one of the most beautiful animation I have ever seen, however the progression of the plot just destroys the mood.
  Went for a movie that seemed mature and intelligent enough to explain kids about death and nature but got a very rushed movie about the power of friendship and the classic “don’t judge a book by its cover”.
  It has very good ideas and had a very strong potential, it’s just annoying seeing big productions insert clichés wherever they can and destroying good stories.

  Del Toro never disappoints in mixing fantasy with a cruel reality. The characters’s design is amazing and every change to the original script is spot on. I didn’t really appreciate the way none of the characters seems to be affected by the fascist context but the movie still is a masterpiece.
