with respect, only barely begins to justify its own existence in the last 20 minutes of the film. also maybe it's the rose colored glasses but i don't remember this amount of fanservice in the originals, and it actively makes the film worse. am i a misogynist or is mari a lowkey useless addition to the plot with little discernable personality

i don't think this can be described in any other way than "sweeping" because that's pretty much what it is. massive, vast, blah blah blah sure that works but sweeping also encapsulates the movement of the film, both literally and thematically.…Translated from by -
