Creature from the Black Lagoon 1954
Love love, love love love! This film is so incredibly beautifully shot. It is so elegant, and the black-and-white contrast add so much to the visuals. Even the costuming of the creature is so ahead of its time and beautiful to look at old movies can have such time but also out badly… However, I strongly believe this movie will get more beautiful with time, the visuals are very necessary with the storyline, but in such a dream like manner…

There’s such realness to this movie in the way that it’s not made nessisarily for aesthetic pleasure or storyline to a certain extent but more so just follows Stevie. And each character met has such a relatability to them at the end you care for them in a way that feels like you know them and are their friend. Through the whole film I was either crying or laughing and there was such magic to certain scenes and just the magnitude of casual dialogue with undertone and affect. I loved it.
